Welcome back {{ first name | fast adapter }}. Today is Friday, not Saturday, but its still a great day to share this email with your co-workers & colleagues to help them Adapt Faster.

Here’s what’s happening this week:

ADAPT FASTER ⚡️

97 Inboxes Later…

354 days to go... And there’s still a mountain of stuff to knock out.

One thing I’ve learned over the years: the work never stops. There’s always another fire, another priority fighting for attention. What’s changed for me lately is how much easier it gets when I lean into AI instead of dancing around it.

And I don’t mean “use ChatGPT instead of Google.” I mean build your own little universe. Your own home lab. Own your data. Spin up n8n. Run your own ZTNA (seriously, check out Twingate, its completely free). Automate every tiny thing that doesn’t need a human.

I’ve been buried in JSON and scripts all week, hacking away to get these workflows running. When something finally clicks, it’s honestly fun. Like a tiny hit of dopamine after hours of head-scratching.

This week I pushed a few more projects forward. The big one: anything tied to client acquisition. It’s the hardest part of running a business right now. Cold calls feel dead. Cold emails barely hit the inbox. Social selling works mostly for people selling the idea of social selling 😂.

So for Adapt Faster Live to make the most impact, I’ve got to light up every single channel. This week it pulled me deep into cold-email infrastructure. I accidentally ended up with a rotating IP pool on my own server, free from Google and Microsoft. I blinked and suddenly had 12 sending domains and 97 inboxes sitting there. Totally overwhelming, but also kind of ridiculous in a fun way. And yes, all automated. Built from scratch in a few hours. If you get a cold email from me, it’ll probably be worth it.

If you haven’t dipped into automation yet, start small. Get a free n8n instance running locally or grab a cheap VPS. I used Hostinger (80% Black Friday Deal). Just sharing what I’m actually doing this week. It’s messy. It’s fun. And it’s making everything move faster.

More soon.

TRANSFORM SMARTER 🧠

Quick updates for Adapt Faster Live

  • I have an AI agent talking to venues and hotels to lock in the location (very close).

  • Hosting a Q1 FastTrack Experience for 20 tech leaders in Tampa; finalizing the details but it’ll be fast AF.

  • Secured the same AV team used EVERY year for Avant’s Special Forces
    (my neighbor, go figure)

  • Secured two prominent key note speakers

  • Finalized sponsorship info

Now the fun part begins; get this event funded and spread the word for the next 354 days. Once we secure a flagship sponsor, the rest will come.

Need to move faster…

CIOs: Collect the right data now for future AI-enabled services

Source: CIO
Why it matters: CIOs are racing to implement AI, but most organizations don’t actually have the data foundations required to support long-term, scalable AI services. The article argues the competitive advantage isn’t just in the models — it’s in the discipline of collecting the right data with governance, consistency, and purpose.
CIO takeaway: Before chasing new AI use cases, lock down your data architecture, ownership, access controls, and quality. Your AI roadmap will collapse if your data estate is inconsistent or siloed.
Use this if: You need to justify investments in data governance, modernization, and platform consolidation.

The Autonomous SOC for SMBs & Mid-Market

Source: Techaisle
Why it matters: Mid-market organizations are drowning in threat volume, complexity, and staffing shortages. This article lays out why “Autonomous SOC” models — blending MDR, AI-driven detection, Zero Trust, and automated response — are rapidly replacing the old “build your own SOC” mindset.
CIO takeaway: Outsourcing + automation is now the only practical way to get enterprise-grade security without burning millions on internal staff. The move is toward AI-augmented security operations with human oversight, not fully human-run SOCs.
Use this if: You’re planning your 2025–2026 security budget and need justification for MDR/XDR partners.

Agentic AI: The Next Step in Contact Center Evolution

Source: Contact Center Pipeline (Nov issue)
Why it matters: CX is shifting from “bots vs humans” to collaborative agentic systems. These AI agents don’t just answer questions — they orchestrate tasks, escalate intelligently, and partner with human agents. Old metrics like AHT stop mattering; new metrics focus on accuracy, deflection, sentiment, and journey success.
CIO takeaway: If you’re re-platforming CCaaS or upgrading support, you’re not buying a contact center — you’re buying an “AI agent ecosystem.” This will redefine staffing models, coaching, QA, and customer expectations.
Use this if: You’re evaluating platforms or need to explain the business impact of AI-driven CX to execs.

90+ Cloud Computing Statistics: A 2025 Market Snapshot

Source: CloudZero
Why it matters: This is a dense set of stats that reveal how chaotic cloud spend has become. Over 30-40 percent of cloud consumption is waste. Hybrid is now the default. AI workloads are outpacing FinOps adoption. Engineering teams still struggle to understand cost impact of their deployments.
CIO takeaway: Cloud cost optimization is no longer a “savings project” — it’s a strategic lever for EBITDA, engineering velocity, and AI infrastructure planning.
Use this if: You want slide-friendly data to justify a FinOps program or cloud modernization initiative.

Enterprises Call for SASE Certification

Source: Mplify / Enterprise Leadership Council
Why it matters: Large enterprises are pushing for standardized certification for SASE because network complexity, inconsistent vendor claims, and rising cyber risk are creating too much uncertainty. They want clarity, trust, and measurable reliability.
CIO takeaway: This gives you a clean argument when challenging carriers and network vendors: “Show me certification, proof, or equivalent validation.” It shifts the conversation from marketing to measurable capability.
Use this if: You’re consolidating MPLS / SD-WAN / VPN into a modern SASE architecture and need a standard to measure vendors against.
